I want to take this opportunity to thank Mario and Dale from Action Plumbing for the water main replacement they recently completed at my home. My husband recently passed away and not knowing exactly what to do when I found an extremely wet area in the front garden one late afternoon, I hit the yellow pages. I called three plumbers with no callbacks within the hour I called. I then called Action Plumbing. They actually had a person answer the phone, she took my message and within 5 minutes Mario was on the phone with me, putting me at ease, assuring me nothing major would happen through the night. He did instruct me in what to do in case something did. He helped me every step of the way from the moment of his phone call. Once the leak was found underground I knew I would need to replace the water main line into the house. The galvanized pipes were 70-80 years old. Mario and Dale dug up the area by hand since equipment 
could not be brought into the yard. They helped me tie up plants so the dirt would not ruin them. They bored a hole behind a large retaining wall and down beneath the sidewalk (which they also cut out neatly and replaced) and they saved the wall and extra expense. Mario was in contact with the local code enforcement office and arranged for permits and inspections. The entire job took only 3 days and we did not have one night or the weekend without water. The backfill and concrete work were done professionally and the cleanup was remarkable. I highly recommend Action Plumbing for a job well done and for putting my mind at ease during a very stressful time. Oh, and they scrubbed out my birdbath too!

Thanks to the team at Action Plumbing and Heating, my employees can use the bathrooms again. We had a problem with a sewer pump that hadn't been touched in over 25 years. They came in and fixed all the issues.
I don't know anybody that likes to have plumbing problems and then have to pay the bills, but knowing the job was done correctly by very knowledgeable and friendly people, made me feel better. If I have any problems in the future, I'll be calling Action Plumbing and Heating.

Last night we found that our basement drain was backed up. We debated if we could go without water until the morning, to avoid an exorbitant emergency fee. We decided we couldn't, so we called a number of plumbers. Some would not come out, especially since it was snowing and already close to 11pm. One plumber quoted a service call fee, and told us in addition, it would be "several hundred dollars" to snake the drain. After a few more frustrating conversations, we spoke to Mario at Action Plumbing. He was willing to come, and gave us an honest quote. We did not have to pay "several hundred dollars" or any emergency fee. We paid him exactly what he had stated. He also gave us some advice about our plumbing that was useful. We are grateful to the other plumbers that did not want the job, and that wanted to over charge us. It it hadn't been for them, we would not have discovered Action Plumbing. FINALLY we have a plumber we can trust.

I wanted to thank you for the service you provided my family over the past couple of days. We've used your services before and were very satisfied, but this occasion showed us how truly dedicated you are to your customers. We arrived home on Wednesday evening to find that our furnace was not working. We called looking for help. What we got was true customer service. I called and spoke with a friendly woman who told us that she'd reach out to the technician and he would call us back shortly. Mario called us from a jobsite that was over an hour away, and said that he would be finishing up and heading up to our house. It was already approaching 8pm, so we knew it would be a late night for both him, and us. Mario arrived at our house shortly after 10pm and quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed (read: exploded) ignitor, and got the heat working again just after 11pm. A late night, he headed home and I went to bed.
I awoke the following morning again to no heat. We contacted your company again, and Mario came back by early afternoon. When he opened the furnace back up, the 12 hour old ignitor had failed again! After some searching, Mario found and resolved the problem - a clogged tube that keeps moisture out of the system was causing the ignitor fail. Unclogged, ignitor replaced once again and after an 18 hour ordeal - our furnace was working and we were nice and warm again. Only after Mario had finished up, did we find out how dedicated he was to your customers. He was going to stop and get a late lunch and had gone without dinner the night before all so that he could help us!
It is because of the performance of you and your staff that we've continued to use your services over the past couple of years. But after this latest instance, you have earned customers for life. Thank you once again for your dedication and excellent service.

I recently called Action Plumbing for a water leak that was dangerously close to my electrical service box. Mario came to the rescue, arriving earlier than he anticipated, which was great. He patiently explained the problem, how he'd fix it and then did so quickly and efficiently, even with three dogs all trying to learn his plumbing techniques. Action Plumbing really came through for us on a terrible rainy weekend. My husband had found that our water heater was leaking on Saturday night. We called Mario, who was on another emergency, and he told my husband how to turn the water off until he could get there. I just wanted to say thanks for the great job you did. I came home to find a mess. Even though it was after hours, it wasn't more than a half hour later that someone was out fixing the leaking faucet. About an hour after that, it was like nothing had happened at all. The mess was cleaned up, and there was no trace that anyone had ever been there. Fast courteous, professional and reasonable; I didn't know companies like that still existed. Great job!
